Yesterday we shared with you the process of legislating members of the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) back to work which is likely to begin in the Alberta Legislature on Monday. At this time it is still uncertain when this would reopen our schools. 

We wish to advise you that, should schools reopen for instruction at some point next week - Friday October 31, 2025 will become a regular school day and not a Professional Development Day for staff. 

We feel it is the best interest of all students and staff to get back and re-establish routines and try to catch up on learning in an expedient manner. 

We will continue to provide updates in a timely manner as new developments arise.
