Fort McMurray Roman Catholic Separate School Division Trustee By-Election Unofficial Results

(FORT MCMURRAY, AB - April 8, 2024) - The unofficial by-election results for Trustee include counts of ballots cast in person on election day as well as at the advance poll.

In accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA) the results will become official April 12, 2024 at noon [s 97 (2)].
A by-election was necessitated by the resignation of a Trustee in November of 2023. In accordance with article 81(1)(3) of the Education Act, the Board must fill the vacancy by holding a by-election. While general election dates are set through legislation, school boards set their own by-election dates.
